A Virtual Tour of the RI State House
A docent-led virtual tour of the RI State House using 360° photos and close-ups of the murals, tapestries and more! The tour touches on history, government, and the architecture of this landmark building.
Lane Sparkman, Associate Director of Education and Public Programs for the Rhode Island Department of State, develops public programs, curates exhibitions, and creates educational materials for teachers, students, and the general public in support of the Department’s mission to make government more accessible and inspire civic pride. She also oversees the Rhode Island State House tour program and has worked with local libraries to provide free pop-up exhibits and programs for their patrons. Before coming to the RI Department of State, Lane ran Sense of Pride, a heritage education program in the Bristol Warren regional school district.
