Sea Rising and its Impact
with Save the Bay
Presented by Wenley Ferguson for Save the Bay on Tuesday, May 17th, 3pm at
Save the Bay
. Wenley will discuss the effects of accelerated sea level rise on Narragansett Bay's shoreline and coastal habitats. She will share information about ongoing efforts from coastal adaptation efforts removing low lying infrastructure and bank regrading to restoring coastal marshes, and will highlight restoration and coastal adaptation efforts at Stillhouse Cove and throughout the upper bay.
Wenley Ferguson is the Restoration Coordinator for
Save the Bay
. Session will conclude with a brief tour of the Save the Bay (STB) facility and property and an overview of STB as an organization.
