A Roadmap to the RI General Assembly Website

The RI General Assembly has a robust website that provides important information for citizens to follow and monitor the work of our legislature. During this session you will learn how to navigate its features from how to find and contact your local legislator, find and track legislation and hearings on bills, how to testify in writing or in-person, and reports on the state budget.

Maureen Maigret served in the RI House of Representatives for ten years working on a variety of issues including health and human services, women’s rights and open government. A former practicing nurse, she served as Director of the former Department of Elderly Affairs for four years. She is a member of the Long Term Care Coordinating Council, Policy Advisor for the Senior Agenda Coalition of RI and Board member of The Village Common of RI.
