Caregiving and Alzheimer's Disease
Janet Bryant is a community representative for the Rhode Island Alzheimer’s Association. She is a caregiver for her husband Paul, who has had young-onset Alzheimer’s disease for five years. She has also provided caregiving support for her mother and her late stepfather, who have/had vascular dementia.
She will share her caregiving story, provide information on Alzheimer’s and other dementias, and talk about the caregiver support resources she has used here in Rhode Island, both from the Alzheimer’s Association and from other community sources. This event can be attended in-person at 245 Waterman Street. Suite 406, or via Zoom. Please register to receive the Zoom link if you are attending virtually! Please email Caroline if you wish to attend in-person. If attending in-person, feel free to bring a bagged lunch! Water and coffee provided.
