Senior Farmer's Market Nutrition Program

Sarah Blau recently joined the RI Department of Health as State Nutrition Coordinator. She supports implementation of the Center for Disease Control's State Physical Activity and Nutrition Program.

A visit to the farmers' market can support access to local produce and provide opportunities to connect with your local farmer.

This summer, The Senior Farmer's Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) will provide $50 to eligible seniors (ages 60 and above) to spend at RI farmers' markets and farm stands.

Join us virtually for a conversation on how you could participate in The SFMNP this growing season.
