Join us for a 4-module workshop where you can learn and grow!
Module 3: Connect and Communicate: Building Powerful Networks

Understand the importance of networking in volunteerism
  • Build professional relationships through communicating
  • Identify ways to be a better communicator
  • It will be an interactive and fun session with village members and volunteers from all our villages!
    Elizabeth Howlett currently serves as Volunteer President for AARP Rhode Island, and also partners with Michael Fournier providing consulting services for community nonprofits. She has had a long career in public service, serving as a state senator, Lieutenant Governor and Secretary of Health and Human Services of Rhode Island. Elizabeth retired last spring from the University of Rhode Island where she focused on coordinating teaching and research at the health colleges. Elizabeth is a graduate of Brown University and received an MBA in Health Care Management from Boston University. In addition to her work with AARP, she serves on the board of directors for One Neighborhood Builders and for Aldersbridge Communities.
